Beginning their journey in 2022, they have rapidly ascended to the top of the competitive dance world, showcasing exceptional talent and dedication. Beyond their technical skills, Filip and Oleksandra are distinguished by their  vibrant personalities and versatility.

 While their partnership hasn’t been without its challenges—occasionally marked by spirited arguments—they always find a way to work together, blending Filip’s competitive determination with Sasha’s expressive artistry.

Training at Grand Dance Studio, this dynamic couple has become a source of inspiration, proving that passion, hard work, and a love for dance can lead to extraordinary achievements in record time.

Young Rising Stars

Mark Rozdorozhnyi & Maya Pavlenko

Mark Rozdorozhnyi and Maya Pavlenko are an exciting Junior dance couple specializing in Ballroom and Latin styles. Since forming their partnership in 2022, they have achieved impressive results, including :

- second place in Ballroom at the International UK Open 2024 in Under 14 category 

- third place in Latin at the National Canadian Cham

Mark Rozdorozhnyi and Maya Pavlenko are an exciting Junior dance couple specializing in Ballroom and Latin styles. Since forming their partnership in 2022, they have achieved impressive results, including :

With a dedication to excellence, they continue to push their boundaries, aiming for higher honors at both national and international levels. As they progress in their journey, they are determined to become leaders in the competitive dance world.

Andrey, 15, and Sophia, 13, have been partnering in dance for the past three years, quickly making a name for themselves in the competitive dance world. Their achievements include:

Nikita Zhuravlov & Anna Osminin

Nikita Zhuravlov, from Ukraine, and Anna Osminin, from Canada, began dancing together in September 2023, quickly establishing themselves in both national and international competitions. They are the Canadian National Champions in NDCC in the Youth Category, as well as the Canadian Champions in CDS for both the Youth and U21 Categories. Th

They are fortunate to be guided by their exceptional coaches, Anna Pelepenko and Valentin Voronov, whose dedication and encouragement continually push them to achieve their best. Dancing together for four and a half years, this couple has become very well-known in Canada and on an international scale. They have achieved many successes together, landing spots as finalists at the New York Dance Festival, Manhattan Dance Championships, Empire Dance Championships, Ohio star ball, and many more prestigious events.

Together, they have become 4- time Canadian Amateur Latin champions. Recently they have started their journey in the professional field and have already been crowned as the North American open to the world professional champions.

Alexey & Vlada Karaulov

Alexey and Vlada began dancing together in 2005 in St. Petersburg, Russia. In their first year, they became Grand Finalists at the Russian National Championship, earning the title of "Master of Sport." They later moved to Canada, representing the country at major international competitions.

Alexey and Vlada began dancing together in 2005 in St. Petersburg, Russia. In their first year, they became Grand Finalists at the Russian National Championship, earning the title of "Master of Sport." They later moved to Canada, representing the country at major international competitions.

After briefly dancing separately due to visa issues, they reunited in New York in 2012. They quickly rose to success, making the US National Latin Finals (2013–2015) and winning the 2014 US Open National Championship. Turning professional in 2016, they dominated Rising Star events in North America and placed 2nd at the 2016 International Championships in London.

Marcin & Monica Kwietniewski

Marcin’s dance journey began in Poland, where he started out dancing with his sister as a teenager. In high school, he met Monika, and together they moved to Warsaw to study and start their ballroom partnership.

After relocating to Canada, Marcin and Monika took their dancing to the next level, training with Jitka Bouma. They’ve been compe

Marcin’s dance journey began in Poland, where he started out dancing with his sister as a teenager. In high school, he met Monika, and together they moved to Warsaw to study and start their ballroom partnership.

After relocating to Canada, Marcin and Monika took their dancing to the next level, training with Jitka Bouma. They’ve been competing since 2009, first in the Adult category and later in the Senior division.

Today, dance is a family passion. Their kids have joined classes at Grand Dance Studio, turning it into a full family affair with everyone practicing together.

Some of their proudest moments include:

🏆 First place in Latin and 10 dance  at the Canadian National Championships 2024 in Senior 2 category

Together, Marcin and Monika believe that dance is a universal language, and their  success is a testament to their dedication, hard work, and love for the art.

Amateur 3 Overall DIVISION

We started dancing in 1996, in group class.

We started the competition in international style in 1999.

In 2005 we won our 1st Canadian Senior Amateur 1 Ballroom Championship.

We won 5 Canadian Senior Amateur 1 Ballroom Championships from 2005 to 2009.

We took a 10-year break to return to competition in 2019.

Since then we have won 3 Canadian 

 

We started dancing in 1996, in group class.

We started the competition in international style in 1999.

In 2005 we won our 1st Canadian Senior Amateur 1 Ballroom Championship.

We won 5 Canadian Senior Amateur 1 Ballroom Championships from 2005 to 2009.

We took a 10-year break to return to competition in 2019.

Since then we have won 3 Canadian Amateur Ballroom Championships in adult 2 and 3 more in adult 3, respectively.
