About The Showcase 2026
Sanctioned by NDCC, the Showcase dance competition is adhering to all Rules and Regulations established by the Association.
This competition focuses on creating a meaningful routine, lasting a maximum of 2.5 minutes, where you can showcase all your strengths. Get creative with your music choices and costumes, as image plays a significant role. Lifts and tricks are permitted, but limited to a total of 3. You are welcome to mix different styles in your choreography, but please ensure smooth transitions if you opt to incorporate more than one dance style. Remember to submit your entry forms on time to participate and familiarize yourself with the judging criteria to enhance your performance.
Judging Criteria:
In the context of a dance competition, several key judging criteria are evaluated, including musicality, technical skills, presentation, creativity, and difficulty. These elements are essential for participants to consider when filling out their entry forms for the event.
